Y&G Celebrates Its 18th Model United Nations Program Year
18th Model United Nations | 800 delegates representing 43 delegations from across the state came together in Los Angeles to participate in the 18th Model United Nations Summit. Delegates put months of preparation to the test as they represented nearly 150 different countries while simulating the proceedings of the actual United Nations.
Throughout the weekend delegates took on roles of United Nations Representatives, Committee Chairs and Presiding Officers as they debated pre-set topics against their peers. Delegates worked together in committees to create resolutions that set goals for the international community and created proposals to address international issues.
#BeTheChange Coin Challenge | During the 18th Model United Nations Summit delegations had the chance to participate in a coin collection challenge to raise money for future delegates in need. Our goal was to raise $1,000 for scholarships and together our delegates raised $1,982.25! Thank you to all of the delegations and delegates who participated.
