INVEST IN CALIFORNIA’S FUTURE LEADERS.
CONTRIBUTE TO Y&G WHEN YOU FILE YOUR CALIFORNIA STATE TAXES.
Did you know you can contribute to California YMCA Youth & Government when you file your California state income taxes?
California law allows taxpayers to contribute money by checking a box on your state income tax return. Contributions will be deducted from your return or added to the amount owed. Donations made through the tax checkoff may be claimed on a charitable contribution on your returns the following year.
How to contribute:
When completing your State Tax Form 540, look for the California YMCA Youth & Government Voluntary Contribution Fund online under "Individual Voluntary Contributions". Indicate an amount, ($1 increments) that you would like to contribute. Any amount will make a difference!
If someone else prepares your income tax returns, remember to share that you want to donate to California YMCA Youth & Government on line #436.
Funds received through the Tax Checkoff for California YMCA Youth & Government will be used to expand programming offerings and fund scholarships for underserved youth.
