Delegations arrive at T&E 1 |
The California YMCA Youth & Government program
centers around a series of conferences that bring together young people
from around the state. Although preparation for the conferences exists
at the local delegation level, the conferences themselves are emphatically
the focus of Youth and Government.
Apart from being necessary for the execution of a statewide
program, conferences give participants the valuable opportunity to interact
with individuals outside of their immediate socio-economic groups. The
result is a unique appreciation for our state's diversity.
